Making your partner look good is the whole thing, yes. And you also have to kind of separate yourself from yourself, so you can be your own partner. Because you want to make yourself look good too. Not from an ego perspective, like showing off, but in a way that serves the scene. You have to watch out for yourself to see the moments when you fit in. The moments when you have something to offer that feels necessary and helpful.
