Heather E. Schwartz has put many years into stockpiling the trash and treasures featured in her solo show, Junk Drawer. Her performance roots also go way back. She spent her youth rehearsing an Annie-inspired musical she wrote with her best friend and acting out Little House on the Prairie-inspired dramas into a tape recorder. Additionally, she devoted hours to whisper-singing in her bedroom and perfecting the Tramp’s defeated expression from a pivotal scene in Disney’s Lady and the Tramp.

Heather has performed Junk Drawer at Happier Valley Comedy and Hudson Valley Improv's Secret Open Mic. She is also a proud member of The Mop & Bucket Company (The Mopco Improv Theatre, Schenectady, NY), a singer, a beginner baritone ukulele player, and a pretend piano player.

"An improviser should always work to make their partner look good. Heather always does, and she looks good herself. She’s funny, she’s smart, and she can sing. It’s a pleasure to be with her on stage."  - Michael Burns, Artistic Director, The Mopco Improv Theatre
